Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Dyuti (Chakraborty Enterprise, GSTIN 19AAJCC4821F1ZQ, registered at Siliguri Road, Opposite Maharaja Nursing Home, Cooch Behar — 736101, West Bengal) collects when you shop here and why. It is written for humans, in the spirit of India's DPDP Act 2023.

1. What we collect

• Account basics: mobile number (your login identity), name, optional email, birthday and saved sizes.
• Order data: shipping addresses, phone numbers on parcels, items, amounts, payment method and status history.
• Wallet ledger: Dyuti Cash credits/debits with reasons — this is shop credit, not a bank balance.
• Device/usage: cart contents, wishlist, session cookie (see 5) and basic server logs.

2. How we use it

• To fulfil orders, invoices (GST 12% / HSN 7117), shipping, COD verification and returns.
• OTP-based sign-in and account security prompts (no passwords, ever).
• Order updates over WhatsApp/SMS/email where you've opted in.
• 2% Dyuti Cash accounting, coupon fraud prevention, and aggregate business analytics.

3. What we never do

• Sell or rent your data. No third-party ad-tech pixels trade your identity.
• Bulk-spam: marketing messages carry one-tap opt-out always.
• Store card numbers — payments run through Razorpay's PCI-DSS gateway; we only see masked references.

4. Who helps us (processors)

Shipping partners (to deliver parcels), the payment gateway (to take and refund money), WhatsApp Business API (for updates) and cloud hosting (India-first region). They process only what the job needs and we hold them to written confidentiality terms.

5. Cookies

One session cookie (dyuti_session, httpOnly, 30 days) keeps you signed in, and your cart lives in local storage on your own device. No tracking cookies beyond that without your consent — reports, analytics and payment widgets are configured to essential-only in this demo store.

6. Your rights

• Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or an account erasure at care@dyuti.in — we respond within 7 days.
• Withdraw WhatsApp/SMS consent any time (order-transaction updates may still be required by law for an active order).
• Nominate a successor for unused Dyuti Cash under gifting norms — write in, it is granted.

7. Retention

Order/invoice records are retained 8 years under Indian tax law. Everything else (marketing consents, wishlist, addresses) can be wiped on request once orders complete their legal life. Anonymised, we keep aggregate sales counts for accounting.

8. Minors

Accounts are for 18+. Practical reality: jewellery is gifted young — if a parent's number is used for a 13-year-old's first jhumka, that account is the parent's, and that is documented here.
